Very professional. Luca solved every issue professionally and we were very happy! We were happy to stay here and would return again, especially for the price! AC works great, beds were comfy, and everything was clean. What more can you ask for?! About 4 blocks from Termini, a really good spot. Thanks Luca!
I was one of the first people to stay in the new Bed and Breakfast near Metro station Manzoni, and I had an awesome time! Everyone was so welcoming and nice, and they even picked me up from the train station. The rooms were simple, but the bathrooms were very nice. The B&B was close to this wonderful cafeteria ( I never knew olive oil could have so much flavor until now lol), pharmacies, grocery stores, and plenty of restaurants all outside the door. There was also a few fresh fruit stands right outside, and every morning I went down and got some delicious fruit for an incredibly low price. The bus stop is very close and can take you to the metro in 3 stops, or you can do the 7 minute walk to the metro. I also walked to the colosseum in about 15 minutes from my room. I think the price is great for the location, great surrounding businesses, and awesome hosts! I will definitely call them again for my next trip to Rome!
Luca and his partner were very welcoming and friendly and even came to find us when we missed the street walking over from the train station. The suite itself is basic but clean and nice with a simple kitchen and cloths washer. We had clean/new sheets and towels. There are three rooms of different sizes/beds, one with a private bathroom, and a shared bathroom for the others so confirm which you are booking. The building and stairwell is not so nice, quite run-down, and the area is urban//china town. So although we were safe it may not be suitable for those looking for an upscale area or neighborhood to wander at night – so the main benefit is price really. The location however is very convenient (a couple/few blocks) to the train and subway stations and the commuter train to the airport – we used all of them. Also all the main tour-bus companies have stops right by the train station a couple blocks away.
There was a bit of a communications barrier, since they didn’t know much English, but they were extremely nice people. The location is SUPERB. a few blocks away from the Termini, every inch of Rome was within our grasp. The rooms were cozy and it is a perfect place for people who’re looking to go out everyday only needing a place to crash for the night. I would definitely come back here again
Cons: Communication – We had to wait quite a long time for telephone contact from the owner when we were at the address.
There was no response to emails we sent. I would suggest contacting the owner by telephone well before arriving in Rome.
